Stacy Westfall to be inducted into National Cowgirl Hall of Fame 2012

16 Jul

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame is proud to announce Mildred Farris, Sunny Hale, Barbra Schulte, and Stacy Westfall as inductees to the Hall of Fame for 2012. These four women will be honored during the 37th Annual Induction Luncheon Ceremony on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to preserve the history and highlight the impact of Western women living roughly from the mid-1800s to the present: the artists and writers, champions and competitive performers, entertainers, ranchers (stewards of land and livestock), trailblazers and pioneers. Today, there are over 200 extraordinary women who have been inducted into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame since 1975.

Congratulations to a very talented Cowgirl! You have accomplished so much and went through some very difficult times and came out on the other side through your faith in God pulling you through. Sometimes it’s not the easy but the rough times polish us and make us to become that precious stone that we are in him. Thank you Stacy for your perseverance and faith and being the example to many. You truly deserve to be in the Cowgirl Hall of Fame! And I’m cheering you on Cowgirl! Hope that you also make it back to Springfield , Mo again!

Ye haw! way ta go girl. It was only a matter of time. The Lord has truly blessed you. With the losses that you have endured this year and the enemy knocking at your door you have rose above it and the Lord has kept his promise by rewarding you with a life time achievement that you are still young enough to enjoy and build upon.
